No previous teaching experience is required as this is an initial qualification for those who want to go into teaching. Previous experience can be useful but we do not expect that. We will train you for your first job.
We also welcome applicants whose first language is not English to this course. You will only need to demonstrate that you have the ability to comprehend English since lectures and handouts will be only in English.
Assessment on the course is continuous and integrated, taking into account written assignments, presentations and practical teaching skills, with each assessed component contributing to the overall grade. Trainees are given feedback by the tutors on their progress constantly.
This course is affiliated to Indian Institute of Career Development(IICD), registered with Government of Karnataka. Your credibility comes from your ability to effectively demonstrate a teaching lesson. MNTTA fully equips you for your job.

Yes. You should be prepared to devote five days a week to the course, and to spend usually one day of each weekend on course-related work. We guide you into extending your learning by giving you reading material and reference sites.
Opportunities for regular practice is available at MNTTA. We also have tie-ups with Schools for providing further exposure to classroom teaching, which will be observed and assessed.
Hybrid course is a way of distance education specially designed for those who can not physically travel to the Training Center on daily basis. At the same time, they wish to get the authentic resources and access to very well experienced faculty. They have following choices: (a) If they live in the city where MNTTA has Training Center: They can attend the Weekend classes on alternate Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at MNTTA Training Centers. This should help them to clarify their doubts and also perform practical activities. (b) If they live in the city where MNTTA does not have Training Center: They can attend workshops, one in the begining(3 days) and one towards the completion of the course (5 days).
